D-Day

The guns roar

Men scream as they land on the beach

Shells expload and ships disappear

Men find ladders and begin to climb

One falls

One continues up

This game of chest continues on

The bloodbath intensifies until the smoke clears

Men are exhausted and horrified at what they saw

The final act is to raise the flag

The end of WWII is upon them.
